SCHOOL AGE SERVICES

We recognize the needs of school age children are unique and vary depending upon their age. We provide service coordination, assistance to navigate the IEP process, assistance for advocating for your child’s needs in all life areas, and support for the family to negotiate the new world of having a child with a disability.

TRANSITION SERVICES

As youth reach the ages of 14-17, we provide a summer career exploration program.  For young adults 18-22, we offer summer work experiences.  We also assist with transition planning for teens as they move through the high school years and into adulthood.  This transition period brings unique changes in their lives; whether that be employment, volunteering, life skills education, or special programming that encourages and facilitates community integration. Along with transition planning, we offer monthly learning opportunities for our families and young adults with our School to Adult Life Transition (S.A.L.T.) and S.A.L.T. TEENS sessions.
